If Time were a woman, its name would be iléa.
Diamonds and steel, polished and satin-brushed surfaces, the new iléa is a study in contrasts in this partially gem-set version. Daintily sculpted at 12 and 6 o’clock, the bezel features an harmonious play on perspectives by merging seamlessly into the curve of the bracelet; while its raised edges, gem-set at 3 and 9 o’clock, highlight the silhouette of this eminently feminine model. The oval dial graced with a finely guilloché "Curve" motif accentuates the flowing lines and understated elegance of a timeless design. In an ultimate touch of refinement, the crown is discreetly adorned with an offset diamond.
The Baume & Mercier watchmaking house felt like putting today’s modern women in the limelight – the ones who switch from one lifestyle to another within the same 24 hours.
With these ladies specifically in mind, our design studio created the
Baume & Mercier DIAMANT watch, launched at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in 2005.
Composed of nine references, the line has not overlooked the expectations of even the most demanding, those with a passion for diamonds… but for truly exceptional occasions! Thus, Baume & Mercier is proposing two new gem-set DIAMANT interpretations. The first makes a subtle and feminine entrance displaying a mother-of-pearl dial and 11 diamond hour-markers while the second is a jewelry statement in itself, thanks to a cambered watchcase that comes trimmed with diamonds. The association of a mother-of-pearl dial and diamonds creates a luminous and dazzling timepiece that has under no circumstances lost an ounce of its strong personality.
Common to both models, the square steel watchcase offers reassuring design aesthetics and finish details that confirm its originality and femininity. Without a doubt the recessed case sides offset the domed sapphire crystal and beautifully underscore the overall gracious camber whilst the slender elongated horns complete its stylish form.
The characteristic oval crown signature is also present on these diamond-set models and features the same ex-centered genuine diamond for a hint of preciousness and quiet discretion.

"Riviera": Like magic, the word conjures up the opulent luxury of the Mediterranean coast. This was the sporty, chic, pleasure-seeking world that inspired Baume & Mercier’s designers to create the Riviera line in 1973. With its original, 12-sided (dodecagonal) bezel that symbolized the twelve hours of the day, the Riviera design made its mark on an era and rapidly became an emblem of the philosophy behind Baume & Mercier’s timepieces: avant-garde aesthetics and traditional technique.
Today, the Riviera collection welcomes four new creations that share the values of the originals; glamour with the very feminine Riviera L White Wave, a passion for the sea with the Riviera XXL Chrono Diver, athletic elegance with the Riviera XL 4 Screws, and a taste for adventure with the Riviera XXL Magnum.

HAMPTON CLASSIC CUFFWATCH - Timeless Elegance
Once again, Baume & Mercier celebrates women by launching a timeless and distinguished timepiece designed specifically with them in mind: the Hampton Classic Cuffwatch. Its "cuff-watch" design transforms it into an extremely elegant bracelet. Magnified by the radiance of a double row of diamonds, the rectangular steel case is harmoniously integrated within a polished steel band. The luminous mother-of-pearl dial is adorned with elongated stylized Roman numerals that are applied and rhodium-plated. This latest ladies’ watch from Baume & Mercier pays tribute to the Catwalk launched ten years ago and which embodied the revival of cuff-watches. Frequently imitated but never equaled, it has asserted its unique style on the watchmaking scene.
