The collection was created, under the direction of Galliano's designs, in ateliers in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the heart of the Swiss watch industry, thus earning Christal its Swiss-made certification.
The Dior Christal collection is available in three sizes and many bracelet/bezel variations, now including a rubber & sapphire crystal bracelet.
The different diamond configurations available on the dial and bezel add to the uniqueness of the design. Add the use of sapphire crystal on the bracelet and bezel, and the ultimate combination of haute couture jewellery and horology is born.
The Dior Christal gemstone watch is the ultimate combination of femininity, elegance, and strength. The dial features a circle of 46 pink gemstones which deepen in colour towards the centre. Intricately set into a mother-of-pearl dial, the gemstones create a unique softness and beauty. The diamond-set bezel enhances the dazzling effect of
the gemstones, and the sapphire crystal-set bracelet gives the timepiece its strength, longevity and boldness.
Sapphire Crystal
Breaking the rules again, Dior is the first to take the sapphire crystal to a new level. Not only is it dazzlingly clear on the bracelet but it covers the watch dial with its hard exterior, making the timepiece virtually scratch-proof.
The sapphire crystal inserts on the bracelet are sharpened into reflective pyramids and set into gleaming studs. Identical crystal pyramids sparkle from the crown and chronograph push-button.
The Dior Christal Rubber Collection features the innovative fusion of two materials: sapphire crystal and rubber. The vulcanized rubber is treated chemically to give strength, elasticity and resistance; the sapphire crystal inserts offer scratch resistance, and provide a brilliant sparkle and bling!
This Swiss made collection is available in three sizes (28mm, 33mm, and 38mm) and three colours (red, white and black). Available with or without diamonds, the mixture of sapphire crystal and rubber creates a beautiful timepiece with attitude!
