SILVER JEWELLERY
BAMBOO COLLECTION
The Bamboo range was first introduced in the 1940’s as an innovative solution to a lack of raw materials during World War II. Bamboo went on to become one of the most distinctive Gucci icons to the extent that, as of 1971, the Bamboo stem shape was reproduced in a bracelet, available in silver and enamel or 18 karat gold. This form proved to be a surprisingly modern and timeless element, which has been reinterpreted by successive Gucci designers in line with customers’ contemporary tastes. Today, Frida Giannini has successfully interpreted the beautiful contours of the Bamboo plant across the Gucci Fine Jewelry line. From rings, earrings to bracelets, cufflinks and necklaces, the Bamboo icon is created in 18kt gold and can be decorated with white or brown diamonds.
